No Land Ahoy

A day at sea. Most exciting moment of the day came when the ship stopped to rescue an abandoned yacht in our path. The captain has a wry sense of humour. He gave us a running commentary of a rescue party boarding the yacht to find the table set, wine in glasses, food half eaten but no one on board!

Shortly after this a speed boat came rushing across the sea. Apparently the owner was worried the yacht was sinking and abandoned ship only for it to float away, apparently still sea worthy. He was picked up and had now returned to collect the yacht. I know, more questions than answers but we were able to resume our course, with only the slightest of delay.
