So vividly different......

We had a truly wonderful day at Taronga Zoo, even though we were running on approximately 6 hours sleep.
We headed back in to the city by ferry looking forward to another great Vivid evening! Wow, could we have been more wrong........
An early dinner that turned out to be the complete opposite of last nights meal. This was poor food, even worse service and a huge bill at the end....$18 for a tiny bowl of kids pasta... are you kidding me! So admittedly we were not really in the best of moods to head back out into the fray. We thought we had spent the day at the Zoo but that was nothing compared to the crowds by the Quay. Feeling rather frazzled and admitting defeat (absolutely NOT in the correct frame to practice some creative photography) we headed back to the ferry ....only to find a huge queue and the ferries were full, full and then some!
We arrived back at our hotel just after 8 pm...there are really only about 300 steps UP the hill from Milson's Point....it really didn't seem that many on the way down earlier in the day !
Then we only had a 90 minute drive home......


Looking forward to planning better next year and we will just make sure we get two Friday nights :)
