A Day At A Time.

Stormbringer 3

It was forecast. At 2 pm today, it said, we would have a severe storm with the possibility of hail and damaging winds.

There didn't seem to be any sign of impending doom as we set off for padel at 10:30. After three very hard games (lost 2, won 1), we came home. And there in front of us, in the mountains, we could see the storm clouds massing. As we arrived home, the first rumblings became audible and the sky grew darker and darker.

I dashed out to capture some pix and returned to the house as the rain began. For an hour, we cowered with a quivering Buster, while the rain slashed down, the thunder boomed and lightening flashed all around.

And then it was gone. Now the sun has returned to its rightful place in a cloudless blue sky and the pavements and promenades are all steaming gently in the heat.

Watered the garden and washed the cars. Result!
