Ice Rink

Did a really girly thing today and got scared driving the car in the ice today. The boys had gone mountain biking in the woods and the girls decided to take the pups for a nice walk. We didn't bother with a map and despite never having been anywhere near the Galloway forest before I thought I knew where we were going! Ended up driving up a steep single track road that looked okay and then turned into sheet ice, but there was no going back at that point! Eventually we found a pull off and I realised there was no way I wanted to drive the car back down the icy hill so I am ashamed to say we had to get the boys to come and rescue us. Rubbish.

We did have a nice walk with the pups. Seeing in the New Year in the Nicol's cabin. Ma Nicol cooking up a big steak pie and the drinks cabinet is well stocked ;0)
