I took advantage of the decent weather today to do some gardening.

I am not a great gardener, or even a particularly keen gardener, but we do have a fair size garden and I like it to be kept under a reasonable degree of control. However, I have done very little so far this year, so it was time to try and sort out some of the excess growth. I was working on the front garden today, as we try and maintain a reasonable state of tidiness, in keeping with other houses on our road. I didn't have time to tidy all the borders, but it is certainly looking a lot better than it was. It will never be model garden, but at least there is some evidence now that we care.
