But look how beautiful it can be....

Everyone at work is complaining about the snow right now (completely understandably, it's quite annoying) but whenever they do I always point to the Pentland Hills which are really clear and visable from our building and say 'but look how beautiful it is too!!'. Because it really is.

It's hard to drive in and I know it creates all sorts of hassle (ie people clearly thinking the world is going to end and ransacking the shops) but it also creates some really gorgeous things that we probably don't stop to look at because we're so involved in moaning about it.

So next time someone moans to you about the gritters not being out or their groceries not getting through the snow, point to something pretty and snowladen and tell them that without the snow, that it would only look half as good. ;)
