The boys were back to school today after the long weekend and it all went smoothly enough.

The littlest and I hung out at home and had a normal day.

We unexpectedly met a friend in the park on the way home from school, heard exciting news about a friend's brand new baby and some sad news about another friend's boy who has had to have his appendix out and is recovering in hospital.

My eldest boy had a trip to halfords with cubs to tonight and learned various tip on bike maintenance. What brilliant opportunities he has!

I was in my pj's before him, my ongoing ear infection is making me feel grotty, so I gave up early and headed to bed early with some old episodes of a classic.
