KOTUKU egreta Alba (2)

I spent another hour or so with Ken Kotuku again today. He's quite happy feeding and preening as I wandered along the canal with him - & another photographer and I who exchanged yarns about this bird and many others. bit like fish stories really ?? Lovely bird - We certainly agree its the thrid year for this bird to be here again.
I liked this shot as its very Natural history and will enable me to compare again if he turns up again next year - provided we meet?
