Islands in the Stream....

The Bitterroot River is making islands now as it crawls around the low-lying areas on the valley floor. In some areas, it is changing course. There may be new river where there was none before as it churns its way north to join the Clark Fork and the Big Blackfoot...the legendary waters of "A River Runs Through It". For those who have never read it or have never seen the movie, here is a scene...the end, in fact, that echoes all I believe the rivers teach us....especially the rivers of the Bitterroot mountains.
