Morro Rock and the PG & E Power Plant

I've captured photos that look quite similar to this one numerous times and occasionally posted them to my blip page, so this is nothing new, but I am attracted to the way the rock and the power plant light up as the sun begins its late afternoon descent into the western sky.

This photo is from our front windows in our little beach shack. I have a view almost identical to this from my bedroom window and each morning I am always curious to twirl open the mini-blinds to see what the view is revealing.

I absolutely love this location and I am so glad that we got right up on our tippy-toes, stepped out of our comfort zone, and purchased this place in November of 2012.

We'll head for our home in southern California on Wednesday because I have a spring semester and four classes of community college English students that need to finish and then enter summer. Once graduation concludes on the evening of June 12, we'll be returning here.
