the taxi rank..........

Almost dusk and the taxis are waiting for people to finish work - this is the main road north out of Mzuzu. We have a small airstrip on the side of this road where cows tend to graze (only in Africa). Someday I want to get a picture of them but I never seem to have time during the day to walk down!

Had a good day. Little Preacher that I posted about here is a bit better today. When I got back from Mzimba yesterday his dad told me that he had not slept since it happened. We got his health passport and off we went to a private clinic where the doctor was horrified to read that nothing had been done at the Government hospital. They had put a bandage straight on top of the burnt hand! Poor child was in agony. This doctor treated the burn and gave the child some medication and he had his first good nights sleep last night. We will go back to the doctor tomorrow morning to change the dressing and check that all is well! Thanks for your kind comments!
