Rocks

Tonight I visited Padilla at his home, where he lives with his mother. I learned that in addition to being a tattoo artist, Padilla also enjoys collecting rocks.

In August 2010, Padilla's divorce from his wife of 10 years became finalized. The two have 10-year-old twins together. Collecting rocks is a way for him to bond with his kids.

In September 2011, Padilla started "Rocks for Schools," a non-profit organization that provides rocks as a teaching aid to schools in Chapel Hill.
