Friday treats

I had a meeting first thing this morning in Glasgow. When my alarm went off at 6.30am I definitely thought this was a mistake, especially after a late night at the awards yesterday.

The good news though is that my meeting finished at 1pm and then I took the afternoon off to meet Angela and Grayson.

Grayson has now been inducted into the afternoon tea tour, he even has his own category. This marks phase 2 of the tour - the score is now out of 45 and includes a baby-friendly element.

Today we went to Saint Jude's on Bath Street in Glasgow. Overall we liked it, coming out with an average score of 32/45 (in the old 40 point system it would have been 29/40). There was nothing to dislike, but nothing to get excited about either.

The one thing we thought especially weird was that our afternoon tea didn't come with any actual tea! A glass of champagne was included in the price (and admittedly we bought the rest of the bottle at a reduced rate) but isn't tea one of the main elements?

So lovely to see Angela and Grayson. They're both amazing and Grayson has the cutest wee dimples when he smiles. He's already a clever wee chap too, he totally recognises his name. Oh and one thing is for definite, he adores his mum!
