D-Day Remembered

70 years ago to the Day, the D-Day landings got underway. Many people gave their lives so that we may live in a free country.

Today they will be remembered and as the poppy has come to represent those who have given their life for this country of ours, so my blip today is this single poppy standing tall in a field.

Proud, strong with its head held high - just like many that this flower has come to represent.

We will remember them.
