Apple kebabs

Someone walking down the trail ahead of us today stuck pieces of apple on the pointy twigs that were sticking up out of the ground. It didn't take long for the deer to discover them. This doe looks pretty happy with her find.

After days and days of snow, rain, freezing rain, sleet, and grey, grey, grey, the sun came out today. The sky was deep blue and beautiful. The sledding hill was crowded with families of all sizes and ages. We didn't go near it for fear of getting knocked down by a sled, but the screams of delight could be heard all through our side of the park. I wonder what the deer thought?

We fed Rascaletta and her friends.
We started to shiver!
We came home!
