One of the great features of Florence is the collection of fabulous statues in public places.
Here we are at the Loggia della Signoria, and this statue is by Giam Bologna, stated to be the first ever statue to be designed for viewing from any angle.
The sculpting and the resultant detailed muscularity is quite stunning. Fantastic skill and artistry.
