Birthday Party!

My lovely mother took this picture. The ultimate excitement for two 4-year-olds is getting ready to go to a birthday party!

It was kind of amazing to wake up this morning and see the joy on Maple's face as she discovered I was in the bed next to her waiting for her to wake up.

She just cuddled in and sucked her thumb and went back to sleep. It was bliss.

Oscar and Bailee of course bounded in before the sun set. I had seen Oscar the night before (He couldn't sleep), but Bailee and I hadn't reunited. We had the best cuddles ever.

We all had a lovely breakfast and the trio unwrapped and opened and played with their bits and bobs from England.

In the afternoon, Sophie came and collected Oscar and Bailee to go to Sebastian and Ethan's 4th birthday party. It was fantastic for me as I needed a nap and knew that the twins would be having an awesome time with their friends.

They came back full of stories about horse rides, water slides, party food and all things birthday. They had such a blast. Thanks Sophie for their rides, looking out for them and all the fun!
