Back with mummy and granny in the park...
The heat has definitely stepped up a few notches in Dubai. I am sure it feels even hotter due to just getting back from England!
I snapped this picture in the park today.... it was fascinating to watch the children all interacting together. There were a couple of girls organising a 'party'. They were giving out invites to everyone in the park and I could just see they had raided their parents cupboards for the 'party food'. Someone threw Oscars glasses in the pond, so I had to deal with it and conduct a lesson in kindness... he was so upset :-(
This morning marked a milestone for me :-) I took off my bandage (With the help of my mum). Although I am not sharing a picture due to not feeling 'pretty' yet. It looks quite amazing considering...
I got a message back from my neurosurgeon's secretary today. She said,
"Mr S has said that the card you sent was very touching and he is so pleased you have followed your dream and started your photography. He has said that you can now wash your hair and the dressing does not need to be changed.
I do hope you continue to feel positive and move upwards and onwards.
We are both here for you if you need anything in the future.
Enjoy your children and the lovely summer that lies ahead
With kind regards...."
How nice is that? He is so humble considering the amount of people that look up to him. It made my day.
