The Annual Cricket Shot

I seem to wander round to the cricket club once every summer, take a few pictures, and then never go back again. Didn't have much to choose from tonight as someone hit the winning runs after I'd only taken a few shots.

Rather lovely day. Beautiful weather of course, got loads of packing done for next week when they start on the new kitchen. All very exciting. Found time to get the chairs out and shloof in the garden in the afternoon. Minor issue with the drains which necessitated a punk plumber coming down from Barnett under the terms of our emergency cover, always interesting when a man stick his rods up your waste disposal. We don't have a flooded back porch, that's all that matters.
