Pink satin

Today's the day ......................... for a pinker shade of pale

A day of extreme weather - from bright sunshine to thunderous downpours.

Took this picture of a rose in the garden somewhere between the two extremes. I don't know the name of it because it was here before we were. And by the look of the metal ties that hold it to the old wall that it grows against, it's been here a long time before that.

It has the most wonderful scent that fills the garden - and the petals are the palest of pink ...........................
