Bay of Pigs

Drove past the Bay of Pigs where the revolution was centred. We visited the museum where we were told the Cuban story tho they include recently declassified info from the USA. there is a town nearby called Australia!

We stopped for a swim in the sea It was a bit tricky to get in as there was lots of coral and you had to carefully climb down a ladder and just start swimming. I had my googles and looked at the corals and small fish.
If you paid you could swim in the Cenote ( sink hole in the coral and limestone) just across the road. I used the time to take this photo of a woodpecker.
