Day 3

This morning we added the stringing and cross banding to the lid, so completing the cover. It was fiddly but nothing compared to what was to come in the afternoon!!

The green and beige motif sitting on the top of the box had to be cut out to a template. Not easy and when reassembling the pieces inside the green frame I almost had a “sense of humour failure”, what came out should go back in!!!!

A peak preview of tomorrows antics activities sounds even more difficult……we were warned!!

Conclusions formed within the group….we will not be doing this from scratch as a business proposition (the others are in the trade) only as a labour of love!!!!
