I'm off

My big news today is that the first of the peregrine young has fledged :)

She is seen here clearly ready for the big move and apparently 1 hour after I took this shot she flew to a nearby tree ( sometimes work does get in the way of all the fun !!). She is still sitting in the tree and I guess will spend the night there. She is on the lower branches and her next move has to be to fly higher which will be an equally big challenge.

Great to watch but I doubt I will have the chance to be back there until Monday so hoping for more peregrine fun next week :)
