Yes - the name seized my attention even at six in the
morning ! Not expecting any member of the crew to
live up to it - I did not bother with that question but
instead to relieve my curiosity - where was the
registration MT ? I would not have guessed - Maryport
in Cumbria on the West coast ! And how did they get
to Scarborough - round the Cape of John 'O Groats ?
No - through the Caledonia Canal ! Perhaps the Boat's
name had been inspired by the rewarding scenery on
such a journey! The crew will also be hoping for a good
reward for the scallops they have come so far to dredge
from the seabed off our Yorkshire coast.
