Porty Beach Race
Up early this morning to make it to Portobello to marshal for the annual Porty beach race. I ran last year but thought I'd help out this year instead.
It was a wet and miserable day, but plenty of people still turned up to help out and take part. Here's a gaggle of Portobello volunteers getting ready for the start of the kids race. Look how dedicated Caroline and Stephanie are checking out that clipboard in the background!
My job for the day was handing out the kids' medals. Great fun, thanks to Ellie and Chris, my medal mates.
Then it was back across town for a reflexology appointment. Sarah, my amazing massage therapist, is branching out into reflexology and gave me a go as part of her training. I tingled in the right places (and some of the wrong ones too - I am slightly weird don't you know!) and we didn't discover anything drastically wrong, so that's a bonus! Thank you Sarah!
Now to relax for the rest of the day, with a movie and some snuggles!
