Hash Trails??

Out on our walk this evening and we encountered loads of little piles of flour and some strange flour symbols - much to enjoyment of the dogs who began snaffling them up.

Investigations (google) leads me to believe they they may be part of a Hash Trail - where a runner lays out a trail of marks for others to follow ('tracking' to us older boy scouts!).

I only hope there were enough left for the followers to see and that they didn't get lost...
