Home,home on the Range

This scene greeted us as we turned off the road by Munlochy School to avoid the traffic works.
The buttercup covered field really glowed in the sunlight and the whole view reminded me of somewhere in America.
It was soo hot today . Right from the start of the day it was in the high teens. Cooled down now though and it has clouded over.

I bought a pair of hotter shoes in the sale at the garden centre. The lady rang the wrong price up on the till, they would have been a real bargain at just a few pence but we could nt let it go through so Mike pointed out the error. The lady was very grateful and gave us two tokens for a free cup of tea :)

We had a burger king for lunch, living the high life again !

We went down to the beach café for an icecream after and to see Sandy, one half of Cawdorchronicle. It was great to see him and hope to see Jean soon.
