St Benedict

Well picked my charges up from Fort Augustus. We stopped to say cherio to some friends of theirs and this was the first thing I saw when I went to their house! It's a statue of St Benedict which they rescued from the Abbey at Fort Augustus. In fact I think most of the Abbey contents are in this house! I think the birds like him too judging from the amount of droppings on his bonce
Then we stopped at the Commando memorial and at the old church in Balchulish. From there we went to Black Mount, Glen Orchy, the Green Welly,St Fillans well and had a final dram in the Drivers Inn then onto Glasgow. 6am start to take them to the airport.
