TIME TO REST

I spotted this Dragon Fly while he rested on a hydrangea bud. I imagine it was very tiring to fly in today’s strong winds. It was difficult to get a clear shot since the wind never stopped. I wonder whether their backs actually are open to the inside workings of their bodies as it appears. They seem so fragile, yet they withstand quite a bit.
