C'mon ref!

So apparently there is something going on at the moment involving a bunch of overpaid blokes and a ball. If my partner, or one if my children (I have neither) was competing in a sport, I might summon some kind of enthusiasm. Or maybe if I played that sport, I would appreciate watching people of an international level. But this has me totally bemused.

I got Algeria in the work sweepstake (I was entered in my absence). Perhaps this is revenge after I won the equivalent grand national sweep, which I only entered because I was so pleased that the guy organising it hasn't come to my office to tell me that something had broken.
