Homeward bound

Was sad to leave our lakeside lodge today - especially given the glorious weather! We hung about this morning, had a long breakfast, played with Audrey, watched some of the Frozen DVD we had bought yesterday (Angus was an emotional wreck - he loved it, the big softie) and finally packed up the car.

Audrey slept the whole way home (waking as we pulled in for a Starbucks drive-through momentarily).

Rather than unpack, we took her out round Chorlton with her new football when we got back and let her have a run round her favourite park.

Just had a lovely evening drinking beer and eating sushi in front of the footie. Just a shame we lost the game!

Angus took this picture of me yesterday. In my defence I was showing Audrey how to do it!!! Happy memories from a great holiday ;)
