The Big But

Audrey was back in nursery today so we had a major sort out at the house (well Angus did mainly - I had to work!) We've come back from holiday and the house feels so cramped and disorganised.

We also went to look at the Wild Card house we saw on Rightmove which was incredible - better than we could have imagined. It's huge, gorgeous inside (and out) with stunning views of a lake. But the big but is that it's in a location we just don't know if we could live in. We are so spoilt in Chorlton with everything on our doorstep and although this would only be a 30min drive from Manchester or 20min train ride, Angus and I went from living in a city to the suburbs - and this is living very much in a village, in an area we're unsure if we would fit in too. Why can the perfect, big houses never be in the cool areas at prices we can afford?
