January Sunset in California
Except for these young surfers passing through, we had this little cove all to our selves. Earier today I planned that we would pack a dinner and drinks, cameras and chairs, blankets and jackets, and head to Laguna for a romantic evening in our "private cove". It was a wonderful evening that became a three stage date. Stage one was the sunset dinner and another hour of private beach time. The next stage was connecting with great friends "Rosie and Mr. Fun" at there hide away on the the beach just north of us for a few hours of great fellowship. The third stage was back home reading and cuddling by the fire place. A wonderful evening with my best friend... my wife.
Earlier in the day I had kind of an epiphany. I realized that for the past 37 years, I have tried to be the most romantic guy I know. Today, I realized that I should strive to be the most romantic guy my wife has ever known. It's a big change in my perspective and I have my work cut out for me. I'm just glad that it is so much fun and so rewarding.
