at home with an Ivysaurus

Ivysaurus still has sore teeth - last night was a bit rough. She's been cheerier today, and has been making 'mama' sounds. Perhaps she knows her passport has arrived or is a fan of her new equation covered nappy (as a lifelong misanthrope I tried to be cynical about the nappy, but then I saw the relativistic mass equation and my heart just melted...).

The weather is grey and blowy today, which is pretty great by this summers's standards so off to the beach, where the 'saurus could model the new hoody her granny knitted. Ivy was impressed by the smooth stones and the cold water: in your face Seychelles! Whilst warming ourselves in the coffee shop Ivy got a bit jealous of our drinks so her granny helped her get a drink from the milk jug. Stay classy, Ivy.

We're off to the theatre later. A youth group is putting on 'the hobbit: the musical'. I think Ivy's granny is excited.
