Orientation Concluded!
Three days of intensive orientation for pupils, and teachers btw, was finalised today!
R jnr's team for orientation was the Eagles! He designed and sketched the emblem of an eagle's head in a coat of arms for his team and a lady printed it on their red t-shirts and MCS (Mountain Cottage School) 'Paratus' on the sleeves.
He had a tough but fruitful week. Monday and Tuesday they had intensive orientation and training for the Duty Panel and from Wednesday until today they had orientation for the whole school! It was hard but great fun!
R snr worked out an orientation program for them during the holidays and two professional Biokineticists presented the program to them, even the teachers took part!
It was absolutely an eye opener for most of the youngsters! R jnr, being a very shy and quiet boy, has opened up by the end of it all, and was even able to make a speech, unprepared, to thank the two ladies for their hard work with the orientation!
We are só excited about this new School, they surely have a winner planned! Staff members are só enthusiastic! It will be a success! We are proud that R jnr could be one of the very first students to do his final year IGCSE at this new establishment! Good Luck to Mountain Cottage Cambridge School, Hartbeespoort!
Oh, btw R snr's 'Springbok' team won the House Sport today!! ;-) He said I must please just inform you that he nothing to do with the fact that they won!! He was only a member of the team!! Hehehehe!!
