I decided to 'man up' re the manual setting and spent some time yesterday afternoon reading and setting the camera onto manual and not to give in and revert to iA. What fun! Really!
We decided to take the ferry from Tarbert and called into the marina at Portavadie for a coffee and wander. The marina looked promising for a shot of colour, reflections and to play with the settings.
This yacht looked as though it was training those on board by motoring within the marina, going forward, turning and backing into a bay, this gave me time to capture a reasonable shot on one of the manoeuvres. My aim was to show colour, movement from the ripples and reflection. I do so hope the people on the boat have no objections.
From Portavadie the drive has taken us along the B8000, the aim is to cross from Dunoon tomorrow morning and head for Edinburgh. All very slow and sedate. I like the word trundle. We have taken a break - yes another one - and parked on a forest track looking over to Lochgilphead for lunch and can see Its raining along Loch Fyne.
Rain early this morning with heavy cloud most of the day.
