Albert Dock, Liverpool

After the fun of yesterday we took a stroll around Albert Dock as it was just across the road from our hotel. I really love this place and found it very relaxing just wondering around. My two and the two cousins were fascinated by an owl display and then they all had their faces painted by a very talented lady (and it was free) except Dex didn't like his as his idea of a frog and the lady's idea of a frog were apparently very different. It was soon taken off his face!

The afternoon was spent at my second cousin's house where we are staying for the next two nights. Their garden is a dream for children with a huge trampoline, swings, goals and she'd hired a huge inflatable slide for the occasion which was used by the children and the grown ups!
In the evening they had organised a hog roast and there were about 70 people there so we had another party!
