Rose

My roses are individually beautiful - but the overall effect is a bit scruffy.

I realised this when I went to Elford Hall Gardens earlier this week - and noticed magnificent rose bushes, perfectly manicured and setting each other off to perfection.

I have many of the same rose bushes - but they're scrunched up and surrounded. A bit of garden tidiness is called for

Meanwhile - I'll enjoy the individuals as it isn't their fault.

Thank you everyone for your enthusiastic comments on my kingfisher. I must admit that the excitement was in seeing this marvellous flash of blue - and any pics were a real bonus.
