Sleeping beauty

That's not your bed little man. Elliot fell asleep after a quick cuddle tonight then got a bit wriggly just as I was about to put him down rolled over and started snoring! Sadly it was on our bed not in his, but he was that fast asleep I was able to just pick him up and deposit him in the correct location.

I know the boys should fall asleep in their cots but sadly after the 6 month sleep regression it's just not happening. Even though they are more than able to do it they won't and end up crying profusely for one of us. I don't agree with controlled crying the time we tried it the boys just got very distressed and did not go to sleep at all.

We've had a very good day after a terrible nights sleep Isaac was in our bed from about 3am as he just wouldn't settle in his cot. Elliot woke several times but would stay asleep in his cot.
Our climbing and walking is coming along leaps and bounds so I'm hoping this lack of sleeping is just to do with that or down to their teeth (which have still not made an appearance but they do seem more prominent).

I'm hoping tonight's sleep is better they've been down for about an hour and not a peep.

But we will see what tonight brings sleep hopefully
