The one.....

That got away!!

I mentioned in my journal yesterday that I was very happy to have a camera load of blips as I headed home and then got hijacked by the "Boxing Kangaroos".

This image was taken at 12.30 this afternoon and I purposely went back to try and set up and take the shot that I had fully intended to blip before I took the "Kangas". The only difference here is about 6 hours of sunlight.

Here on my blip folio is the one I took at 6.30am yesterday. I had driven past the marina on several occasions during my stay in Bundaberg and kept thinking, if only I could get inside those gates and take a shot of the yachts in dry dock at sunrise.
This is my way of posting it on my Blip journal but keeping faith with posting a blip on the day the image was taken.

I just want to thank all of you who visited yesterday and showered the Boxing Kangaroos with so many hearts and stars. I wonder if they'll ever know that they were sitting at one stage in the number 2 position of Spotlight for several hours. I know there's one Wombat in the world who was over the moon. Thanks so much everyone.

Oh, just finally, I had to eat humble pie with Brett the Manager of the Marina. I very confidently told him that I would send him a link to my blipfoto journal yesterday so that he could see the image I had taken. When it was knocked off its perch by the kangaroos I thought I should make amends and took out a collage of three images that I had taken yesterday morning. He seemed really delighted with the photos, so all is well and I'm going to be giving him a call next time in Bundy to see if I can add to my collection.
