Pure beauty - and a wasps nest

So often something delicate and beautiful is balanced with something horrid that you'd rather not see or have happen.

This gentle rosebud, caught in one of our patches of sunlight, couldn't be further from the sight of thousands of furious and dying wasps that emerged from the nasty nest that they had made in the roof of my porch.

A lovely man, dressed in full beekeeper's protective mask and covering, dealt with the wasps nest very quickly and for an amazing reasonable price (Paul Harrison from Tamworth and he has a website).
