Fried Green Tomatoes?..

..They're starting to fill out nicely now, just waiting for the first ones to ripen..

Had a bit of a late night last night. I&S came back for a drink when we left the pub, and cheese and biscuits.. Some music, beers, and drams later, myself and G got to bed around 3!! The sky was lightening, and I was tempted to stay up and see the sunrise. But not that tempted!

Had a chat with D about our 2015 calendar, or should I say I was talked at for 28 minutes, just a few edits to do before I send it off to the printers.

Cleaned the hens out, a job that I should have done before I went South. Gave the shed a good hose down, and sprayed Jeyes fluid around to.. Nice and clean..

Put the rotorvator back on the tractor and did a patch for Robbie to plant his swedes out..

I was going to have a walk over the croft with my tripod to get some pictures of wild flowers, but got eaten alive as soon as I stepped out the back door. The curse of the highland midge. So got this very quick shot of the tomatoes developing..

Duke, our ginger cat, caught a bird. When I got to it, it was laid on it's back, lifeless. I picked it up, and inspected for damage, when it gave a quick flutter of wings, and was off.. Dad 1 - Cat 0!!
