Machu Picchu

Day 11:
So this picture about sums it all up.
Our guide Richard booked it up the steep natural steps in the 8 thousand feet altitude, no big deal. Was I crawling? No. Out of breath? Literally and figuratively- the view is unlike any other. Once again, feeling like an ant, I basked in God's masterpiece (until Richard told us to hustle).
While in the ruins, we all got selfies with a llama, so that was also pretty cool.
Although there were more steps than you can imagine, we only stayed in the ruins for the morning. 3 hours of our afternoon was spent in a buffet (because of wifi, we did not eat the whole 3 hours, don't worry). Our remaining time that afternoon in the Sacred Valley was spent in the market, purchasing llama socks and headbands in mass while learning to bargain.
