Lottie's contribution to le tour

We did contemplate finding somewhere to watch stage 2 of the cycling today but Lottie was tired after yesterday and with just three weeks until we move we have loads to do at home. However we still managed to find a bit of Tour de France mania in Wakefield.

Walking through town we came across Wakefield's answer to Holme Moss! The local council's Change 4 Life team were out with two static bikes trying to cover the 201km course with a bit of help from the public. Lottie was determined to do her bit - she set off and did her 1km but wanted to carry on. She got to 2km by which point she had earned a water bottle and a t shirt, but she still hadn't had enough. At 3km she got a round of applause from the organisers who were impressed with her little legs!

Yorkshire once again looked amazing today - with not going to the course we managed to catch some of it on tv where you can fully appreciate the crowds. It has been a fantastic two days for the county.

Also managed to watch some of the Wimbledon final in between packing boxes.
