Flash Floods

A very enjoyable bike ride on the Yorkshire Wolds with an eye on some very ominous clouds. Fortunately we made it back to base in the dry.

However the journey home was interesting through hailstones and flash floods where the road resembled a muddy river. Wipers were working overtime and headlights were a necessity. Fortunately it stopped before Jet needed a walk this afternoon.

This poppy had definitely felt the effects of the thunderstorm.
