Views of my world

Fun

What fun we've had this week. It's been a brilliant holiday and I'll cherish the memories we've made. I feel so lucky to have awesome teenagers who have hardly grumbled and enjoyed our family time together. (Although at this point I think they're looking forward to getting home, she for time to socialise, he for time to himself.)
Continuing my happy top three for today
1. Watching Biffy Clyro on telly with Freya, an annual festival favourite, although I'm painfully aware I may be on my own on the sofa next year with her in the audience, we saw someone in the crowd with a sign that said "Gran, I'm ok" and she's promised to make one for me when the time comes.
2. Revisiting the favourite holiday restaurant, we always love spending the last night on holiday in our favourite restaurant, this week that was The Hub, right on the harbour side in St Ives, delicious!
3. Painless packing, most of the packing has been accomplished without mishap ready for our 10am departure tomorrow. We're booked in to a hotel in Bristol tomorrow so we have time to explore the West Country before we head home in earnest on Sunday.

Cornwall has been a blast, if you've never been I can't recommend it enough, we'll be back before too long.
