Three Of A Kind.

Well it was a fairly short shift today with two trips from the depot to the station with the second trip continuing through to Glasgow Central and then back to Edinburgh and finished for 1pm so that was nice and then I popped in to see my mum for a quick cuppa then home and had smoked Cod Loin with baby potaotoes for dinner oh and and a couple of cans of Belhaven Best whilst I sat out in my tea shirt and shorts on a recliner seat getting the sun that broke through just before lunch time as it was warm indeed anyway this shot was down at our Portobello end of Craigentinny depot as I hung around waiting for the 3 fitters as 1 of the 5 engines failed to start they footered about and still nothing putting the charger on to try give it a boost to fire it up probably would have been better with the 3 Tenors rather than the 3 Fitters lol only kidding guys anyway I told them not to worry as I had an idea how to get it sorted so I left a little late after prepping my driving cab and a fitter at Edinburgh would take another look at it but by the time I arrived in platform 19 I had it started as sometimes when you can get a bit of speed up on the main line and you hit the engine start button it will kick back into life which it did and my colleague was happy to have all engines in for his trip to Aberdeen problem solved simples ! anyway that was it for today so my movie for the day is " 3 Idiots 2009" lol haha couldn'y resist that one See Ya
