Fishing

Houseonthehill told me that she had been watching some young moorchicks standing on a leaf and a stick in this rather dirty pond in the Botanic Gardens. Fortunately when I watched the heron it seemed more intent upon catching fish while the tasty little moorchicks swam safely out of reach among the plants and sampled crumbs at the far end of the pond.
