It's hot out

The sprinkler system was turned on quite a few times today in our attempt to beat the heat. We were successful. . . at times. Aside from enjoying watching my little man treat the sprinklers like a super hero obstacle course, I would say my favorite thing about the day was listening to him crack himself up while reading a riddle book to me that I had as a kid. I had to hold my response back to all the riddles he asked me because I remembered them all by heart, but I wanted to hear him read each one. One of those memories I don't want to forget.

Tomorrow we are heading out for a night of camping (our first time with Alex). Blip done, need to pack. . .
