A Big Chair

This morning we had had a visit from Maisie the adorable dog who is on her holidays next door to us - she sneaked through the fence. BB is quite taken with her.

Today was all about Holkham. We had a walk around the magnificent grounds and read about what a marvellous chap Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester was. We didn’t bother with the house – not BB’s cup of tea – though I am sure it is worth a visit. BB was much more interested in the adventure playground. I was quite interested in the huge walled garden which is under restoration. Note to self – must come back in a few years and see how things are doing!

After a picnic lunch we headed for the beach. It is a fantastic beach which stretches for miles. BB was very happy building sandcastles and running to the creak for water – not to mention playing around in the lovely warm water of the creak.
